Swarm action roguelike game for PC

Myriavora is a premium action game for PC developed by Jurgen Hoffman. It's a third-person roguelike set in the distant future where humans are under threat from a species of spider that has grown superior through evolution. Players must now defeat hordes of these creatures to help save humanity.

Combining the distinct art style of Risk of Rain 2 with the unique swarm action of Returnal, this demo of Myriavora offers fast-paced, non-stop action for players to take on with its agility-based combat. As such, it allows for a great range of mobility and freedom to maneuver however they want.

Arachnid invasion

Myriavora takes place a million years into the future wherein spiders have undergone drastic evolution, making them the superior species on Earth. With humanity on the brink of extinction, the last remaining survivors take arms with advanced technological weapons, fight for a chance at survival, and find a new place to call home. You are one of these few remaining individuals.

Combat in this game is all about building speed and momentum, and it starts with your weapon which receives an increased rate of fire the more you shoot with it. Run, slide, and glide through 68 maps with unique sets of enemy swarms to face. Customize your loadouts with 20 powerful skills to complement your weapons. There's roguelike meta progression here that lets you keep your gear after dying.

You can also get personal with your characters with various cosmetic options and items. They include 14 hairstyles, 22 facial options, and 58 customizable pieces of clothing to achieve a unique look based on your preferences. All that said, this is still an action-roguelike, and it has a high difficulty curve that some players will find too much and detract from their enjoyment and experience.

Defeat the swarm

If you like swarm action games and are looking for something new to try, Myriavora is a title worth considering. It's fast-paced, offers a great sense of mobility, and plenty of ways to customize and personalize your character. It's difficult through and through as is the case with these types of games. However, if you like the challenge, give this one a try.

Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
